FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method for repair of sucker rod includes treatment of rod body, which is done by radial-shift three-roller rolling with reduction of thickness and extension of rod body length with subsequent strengthening thermal treatment. At the same time specified rolling is done with the speed of 100-110 mm/s and frequency of rolls rotation of 70-72 rpm at the temperature of 950-1150°C. Besides, multiplication factor of rod body length extension is set within the limits from 1.30 to 3.36.

EFFECT: improved strength characteristics of sucker rods.
