FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for early pre-clinical diagnostics of lens cataract capsule state after phacoemulsification with implantation of intraocular lens. Presence of local changes of transparency of anterior capsule leaves, both leaves of cataract capsule in zone of capsule sac equator. Acoustic density of equator zone of capsule sac is measured by method of ultrasonic biomicroscopy. Presence of changes of geometric form and capsule sac size is detected, and if fixed are presence of local changes of transparency in equator zone of capsule sac before visualisation of whole cataract capsule, increase of acoustic density of cataract capsule up to 20-30%, curvature of anterior or posterior capsule surface, reduction of distance from edge of anterior capsule leaf in one capsule segment to edge of second anterior capsule leaf in opposite capsule segment, capsule contracture, characterised by irreversible dystrophic changes is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method allows to increase accuracy of early pre-clinical diagnostics of lens cataract capsule state after phacoemulsification with implantation of intraocular lens, reduction of method labour-consumption and extension of range of methods of diagnosing said state of lens capsule.
