FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in the disclosed method, protection from passive interference is achieved by reducing correlation of signals received on detection phases through time and frequency separation of probing signals, as well as making decisions based on results of analysing radial displacement of a detected object in the time between detection phases.
EFFECT: protection from passive interference during two-phase signal detection without lowering potential of the radar station.
