FIELD: the invention may be used at surveying space in radar stations with successive discontinuous displacement of the beam.

SUBSTANCE: the achieved technical result is in reduction of time and energy expenses at surveying space with protection of active asynchronous impulse disturbances. The indicated result is achieved due to the fact that in the proposed mode they execute radiation in the current moment of time in the surveyed direction of the sounding signal, reception from the same direction of the reflected signal, its comparison in all discretes along the distance of the threshold of the first stage of detection, comparison of the received signal with the threshold of the second stage of detection and adoption of decision about detection of the object, at that the comparison of the signal received from the direction surveyed in the current moment of time with the threshold of the second stage of detection is executed in discretes on distance in which in neighboring directions surveyed in the previous moments of time there was prevailing of the threshold of the first stage of detection. The decision about detection of the object in the indicated discretes is taken at prevailing the threshold of the second stage of detection.

EFFECT: reduction of time and energy expenses.
