SUBSTANCE: module (22) of radiation detectors, which is especially suitable for use in computer tomography (CT) applications, has a scintillator (200), an array of photodetectors (202) and signal processing electronic equipment (205). The array (202) of photodetectors includes a semiconductor substrate (208), having multiple photodetectors and metal coating (210) on the non-illuminated side of the substrate (208). The metal coating traces electrical signals between the photodetectors and the signal processing electronic equipment (205), and between the signal processing electronic equipment (205) and an electrical connector (209).
EFFECT: high image quality, simple design of the detector.
