SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Proposed air tire comprises: multiple blocks 7 formed by multiple grooves (peripheral and crosswise grooves 5) running along tire periphery and across it over the tread surface, drain cutouts with their width smaller than that of grooves. Drain cutouts are made in every block 7. There are also multiple ledges 21 made in central zone in depth of every drain cutout 9 on its one side surface 13 and running in different directions toward the other side surface of drain cutout 9.

EFFECT: increased stability, higher acceleration and better drain properties on ice- and snow-covered roads.
