FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed inclined belt conveyor comprises frame, belt and catcher. Working members of catchers are made up of round cross section beams arranged at conveyor top part at the center of spans between roller supports with clearance and under the belt and oriented perpendicular to conveyor lengthwise axis. They are secured to conveyor frame to repeat the belt crosswise profile. Clearance between belt bottom surface and top edge of every beam are selected for belt load carrying run of lifting and inclined conveyor proceeding from the condition hr<0.125g(ql+q)ℓ2(l/S2-l/S1), where hr is clearance between belt bottom surface and top edge of crosswise beam, m; g is acceleration of free fall, m/s2; ql, q is linear mass of belt and carried cargo, respectively, kg/m; ℓ is span between adjacent roller supports, m; S1, S2 is tension of conveyor belt in appropriate span in normal operation of conveyor, i.e. lifting the cargo and return motion of the belt after cutting out of conveyor drive motor, N. In the case of inclined conveyor load carrying and idle runs, clearance h between belt bottom surface and crosswise beam in appropriate span is taken to make maximum possible values for normal operation of the conveyor in cargo lifting or lowering.
EFFECT: simple design, higher reliability.
