FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: conveyor comprises frame 1, load-bearing flight 2 running around drive and end pulleys and resting on grooved roller carriages 3, and return run 4 resting on straight roller carriages 5. Catcher is arranged under load-bearing run between its roller carriages of steel sheet 6 articulated to transverse beam 8 on bottom roller carriage side fixed at conveyor frame stringers 9 to turn in vertical plane. Sheet on hinge side features curved profile while section adjoining thereto features straight profile and arranged parallel with belt load-bearing run. Inclined side walls 10, 11 are fixed at sheet lateral edges with spacing increasing toward top roller carriage. Distance between side wall top edges on bottom roller carriage equals the belt load-bearing run groove. Flat flexible elements 12, 13 are secured at sheet lateral edges on top roller carriage side with their free ends resting on frame brackets. Transverse beam 14 is arranged at sheet bottom part normally oriented to belt return run and located there above. Stops 15, 16 are secured above return run at said frame to allow flexure of return run in breakage. Catchers are spaced apart over load-bearing run with interval multiple of roller carriage arrangement.

EFFECT: reliable catching of broken belt.
