FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for distillation of homogeneous fluids, separation of different-boiling point fluid mixes, in chemical, medical and pharmaceutical industries. Proposed method comprises heating and evaporating thin film of fluid flowing under gravity on over vertical surface with local heaters, vapour condensation of ribbed surface, transfer of heat released in steam condensation into evaporation chamber with the help of Peltier effect. Proposed device comprises working chamber with initial fluid feed branch pipes and distillate and waste fluid exhaust branch pipes. Working chamber represents a vertical hollow rectangular parallelepiped with inner space divided into two intercommunicated chambers: evaporation and condensation chambers, thermoelectric sections representing two vertical plates with Peltier element arranged there between. One plate has smooth working surface of evaporation chamber incorporating film-forming elements and one or two heaters, while another plate has ribbed surface of condensation chamber.
EFFECT: high power efficiency, simple design, reduced operating costs.
