FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and may be used in fodder production. Green maize mass preservation method involves green mass milling, addition of a preservative per layer, compaction and hermetisation. The preservative is represented by a mixture of 75% ammonium soleplate and 25% elementary granulated sulphur, the expenditure rate being 3 kg per 1 t of green maize mass.
EFFECT: invention implementation enables enhancement of fodder nutritional value, preservative expenditure reduction and preservatives range extension.
