FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: modulation depth of smoothed correlation characteristic of the object is adaptively increased to the level of 0.3, which provides detection of extreme values in this characteristic, which are necessary for correct selection of interval of inverse aperture synthesising. Modulation depth is increased by method of increasing the duration of partial selection of reflection characteristic of the object on the basis of data decimation in reference reflection characteristic. Decimation coefficient is selected by counting the number of blades at five-second interval of reflection characteristic of the object.
EFFECT: reducing the number of decision taking errors.
