SUBSTANCE: integrated selection index is used. The integrated selection index includes a selection index of evaluation in terms of live weight at an age of 15 months, a selection index of evaluation in terms of average daily gain during the period from 8 to 15 months of age, a selection index for evaluation of meat forms at an age of 15 months against 60-point scale and additionally includes a selection index of constitutional type evidence by measurement of height at hips at an age of 15 months against a 5-point scale and is represented by the formula: Y_i=( Y₁ +Y₂ +Y₃ +Y₄):4, where Y_i is the integrated mean index in terms of all the indicators, Y₁ is the selection index of evaluation in terms of live weight at an age of 15 months, Y₂ is the selection index of evaluation in terms of average daily gain, Y₃ is the election index for evaluation of meat forms at an age of 15 months, Y₄ is the election index of progeny constitutional type evidence at an age of 15 months with regard to measurement of height at hips against a 5-point scale. Stud bulls with the integrated index value in excess of 102%, varying from 98 % to 102% and below 98% are characterised as improvers, neutral and deteriorators accordingly.

EFFECT: more evident discrimination of improvers and deteriorators, brood evaluation objectivity enhancement.
