FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: hot steel sheet if carried and locked by rolls and cooled by lines of spraying nozzles arranged between said rolls above and below the sheet. Proposed device comprises lines of low-cooling spraying nozzles. Each of the latter features integrated impact pressure of cooling water defined as n-degree of cooling water impact pressure integrated between pair of pressure rolls in direction of transfer and lines of high-cooling spraying nozzles with higher integrated cooling water impact pressure. Note here that 0.05≤n≤0.2. Maximum integrated impact pressure of cooling water of lines of low-cooling spraying nozzles and minimum lines of high-cooling spraying nozzles are equalised so that to ingrate both areas of integrated impact pressure of cooling water and make said areas continuous.
EFFECT: continuous control over cooling capacity in wide range.
