FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling. Method for cooling the rolling surface involves the use of an injector having inlet (3) and outlet (5) located opposite the cooled surface, herewith created is single-phase volume flow (V) of a cooling fluid medium, which through inlet (3) is supplied to injector (2) and leaves injector (2) through outlet (5). Reduced coolant and improving the cooling efficiency is provided due to that outlet (5) of the injector is installed at variable distance (d) from the cooled surface, herewith volume flow (V) of supplied to inlet (3) of the injector cooling fluid medium is adjusted in such a way, that injector (2) in accordance with Bernoulli principle is sucked to cooled surface (1). Cooling device (10) for implementation of the proposed by the invention method comprises appropriate equipment.
EFFECT: rolling device includes cooling device (10).
