FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: alternating current signal is sent at one end of the track to be registered at opposite end and compared with threshold voltage magnitudes of occupancy and unoccupancy. Given threshold magnitude exceeds current magnitude track is considered occupied, while current magnitude exceeding threshold magnitude signals about free track. Voltage at receivers with connected standard shunt is taken to occupancy threshold magnitude determined with due allowance for ballast insulance, while unoccupancy threshold magnitude is determined by multiplying occupancy threshold magnitude by safety factor. Threshold magnitudes are corrected in compliance with input impedance between midpoints of track transformers of adjacent tracks whereto insulance corresponds uniquely.
EFFECT: higher reliability of control.
