SUBSTANCE: proposed system serves to divide articles 2, say food, carried on support or transportation surface 5 and comprises dividers 7 made in the form of loops with their both ends retained on drive elements 6 that make said loops and rotating above support or transportation surface. Said dividers are arranged on one rotation section to allow temporary disconnection from drive element and re-connection therewith. Spacing between dividers can be adjusted in stepwise or stepless manner.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced idle time.
