FIELD: conveyors and related.

SUBSTANCE: device for transporting and forming groups of flat products on a conveyor contains a conveyor and pushers. The conveyor contains a chain, a drive, a guide and a support plate in the packaging formation section. The guide is made in a U-shape of a box-type from two connected halves with elements protruding inwardly in the shape of a chain, and in the section for forming the package, the guide has a changed shape. The support plate is made elongated in proportion to the length of the package. Each pusher has a body containing a base, a spindle for fixing the pusher in the body, an axis for fixing the body on the chain, and the pusher body may additionally contain a support element for supporting on the plate at the packaging formation section. Moving by means of pushers and unification of products is achieved by removing a part of the pushers from the active state by overturning when changing the shape of the guide at the packaging formation section and picking up groups of products left without pushers by subsequent groups moved by active pushers with a support element, in the presence of a base plate in the packaging formation section.

EFFECT: the device is simplified, its performance is increased.
