METHOD FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF INVESTIGATED SUBSTANCE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC G01N27/416

Abstract RU 2410674 C2

FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for electrochemical detection of investigated substance. Concept of the invention is as follows: method for electrochemical detection in sample of investigated substance includes such procedures as submersion of electrode-sensor in solution with sample, where investigated substance is supposedly located; formation of electrochemically active complex with the help of according solutions, containing secondary receptors or competing molecules marked with charged mark or ferment mark; and subsequent submersion of sensor into electrochemically active solution. Stage of measurement includes bringing potential of electrode sensor down to pre-determined fixed potential, by supply of electric current or signal of activation, and subsequent monitoring of potential difference between electrode-sensor and electrode of comparison after disconnection of retention current. Electric current, limit value and potential may be measured, and this data will be used to determine concentration of investigated substance or condition of sensor.

EFFECT: simplified method of electrochemical analysis.
