DEVICE FOR DETERMINATION OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUNDS IN BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS AND PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE OF SENSITIVE ELEMENT Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2032908 C1

FIELD: medical biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: device for determination of biologically active compounds in biological fluids has working element 1 composed of backing 2, working electrode 3, comparison electrode 4 and auxiliary electrode 5. Film of conductive polymer coupled to bioreceptors is positioned on working electrode 3. Blocking agent 8 is located on surface of film free from bioreceptors 7. Apart from them device has control unit incorporating amplifier 10, analog-to-digital converter 11, controlled current source 12 and programmed controller 13. Given device provides for increase of precision of determination of biologically active compounds. Process of manufacture of sensitive element consists in manufacture of backing 2 from inert material, auxiliary electrode 5 and working electrode 3 by deposition of metal layer on outer surface of backing 2 followed with fabrication of comparison electrode 4, in application of polymer coat on surface of working electrode 3, in inclusion of proper bioreceptors into film and treatment of film to impart it with specified electrochemical and mechanical properties. Given process provides for expansion of functional capabilities of working element, for increase of precision of determination and for reduced time of analysis. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities, increased precision of determination of biologically active compounds and reduced time of analysis. 23 cl, 9 dwg
