FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to transformer building and relates to structures of high-voltage transformers. Transformer comprises magnetic conductor (1), where low voltage (2) and high voltage (3) windings are concentrically arranged, made of turns that form layers. High-voltage winding (3) is connected to high-voltage leads: (A) and (X). Layer of high-voltage winding, most distanced from magnetic conductor, is equipped with high-voltage screen (4), connected to high-voltage lead (X). The second high-voltage screen (5) is located in front of initial layer of high-voltage winding (3). Each of high-voltage screens: (4) and (5) is arranged in the form of two insulated conductors wound in a single layer. Opposite ends of conductors of the first high-voltage screen (4) are connected to end of high-voltage winding (3). Opposite ends of conductors of the second high-voltage screen (5) are connected to beginning of high-voltage winding (3). Other ends of conductors of high-voltage screens: (4) and (5) remain insulated.
EFFECT: increased reliability of transformer due to evening of voltage in extreme layers from the side of beginning and end of high-voltage winding of transformer under action of overvoltage waves with steep fronts.
