FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: there is measured distribution of residual lengthwise and cross stresses and profile of hot-rolled strip and there are determined deviations of magnetic and mechanical properties from average values in width and length of strip by equations of kind: ΔMSij=BΔσij +CΔHij, where ΔMSij is deviation of magnetic and mechanical properties from average value in width and length of strip, B, C are coefficients relating to grade of steel; Δσij is deviation of residual stresses in width and length of strip from average value; ΔHij is deviation of thickness of hot rolled strip in width and length of strip from average value; i,j are coordinates of width and length of strip. Further, there is determined actual distribution of magnetic and mechanical properties in width and length of strip by formula: MSA ij=MSC + ΔMSij, where MSA ij is actual distribution of magnetic and mechanical properties in width and length of strip, MSC is calculated or measured average level of magnetic and mechanical properties.
EFFECT: control over magnetic and mechanical properties in production stream for length and width of strips, raised accuracy of prognosis of evaluation and control of magnetic and mechanical properties of electro-technical isotropic steel in production stream.
