FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of dry fodders for domestic animals. The colouring agent is a mixture of synthetic colouring agents consisting of the following components (wt %): tartrazin - 66-70%, sunset yellow FCF - 7-8%, carmoisin - 19-21%, brilliant blue - 4-5%. The method for domestic animal dry fodder production is as follows: dry components of the fodder are ground, mixed with liquid, maintained, added supplements to, extruded, cut, dried, granulated; then one adds a colouring agent as per Clause 1 in an amount of 0.005-0.02% of the finished product weight. The dry animal fodder contains the recipe base and a synthetic colouring agent as per Clause 1.

EFFECT: invention allows to ensure stable brown colour of the fodder.
