FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic facilities of fire extinguishing control on the basis of determination of space coordinates of fire source. According to method of automatic fire extinguishing, including determination of availability of fire source on controlled territory, determination of coordinates of fire borders, supply and spray of fire extinguishing medium jet in direction of fire source with the possibility to control direction of supply and amplitude of reciprocal movement of jet depending on coordinates of fire borders, detection facilities are at least two television cameras, they are arranged within the limits of controlled territory arbitrarily relative to nozzles of fire monitors, spatial coordinates are calculated for areas of location of television cameras and nozzles of fire monitors, they are entered into computer memory, coordinates of fire borders are calculated as spatial coordinates depending on coordinates of television cameras arrangement, and angles of fire-fighting monitors turn are calculated depending on their distance to borders of flame with account of gravitation forces. In automatic system of fire supply device of fire source detection is arranged in the form of at least two television cameras arranged within the limits of controlled area separately from nozzles of fire monitors and at the arbitrary distance relative to them.

EFFECT: improved validity and accuracy of fire source spatial coordinates determination for aimed homing of fire-extinguishing substance supply device, and also increased efficiency of fire-extinguishing substances consumption.
