FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inorganic chemistry and gas cleaning, and can be used in catalytic removal of ozone from gases. Disclosed material contains the following in wt %: manganese oxide 29-31; copper oxide 19-21; nickel oxide 9-11; platinum compound (in terms of Pt) 0.015-0.1; calcium aluminate - the rest. Also disclosed is a method of producing said material, involving mixing initial components in form of basic manganese carbonate, basic copper carbonate, calcium aluminate and basic nickel carbonate, moulding granules, primary thermal treatment, saturation with chloroplatinic acid in the presence of acetic acid and repeated thermal treatment.
EFFECT: obtaining material with high catalytic activity when working in humid environments at low temperatures.
