FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food and pharmaceutical industry, specifically a novel method of producing ethanol amides of polyunsaturated fatty acids, realised by reacting ethyl ethers of fatty acids with monoethanol while heating, followed by extraction of the end product, where the ethyl ethers of fatty acids used are ethyl ethers of polyunsaturated fatty acids and the reaction is carried out in molar ratio of ethyl ethers of polyunsaturated fatty acids: monoethanol amine is equal to 1: 2-5, at temperature 55-65°C for 4-5 hours, after which the reaction mixture is held for not less than 12 hours, while stirring constantly and bubbling inert gas or under a vacuum.
EFFECT: efficiency and low cost of the disclosed method, which improves quality and ensures high quality of the end product.
