FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: by hot forging of the ingot out of hafnium electrolytic powder the forging is produced, then by machining the blank having round profile is made, its vacuum heat treatment and hot pressing are performed with manufacturing of the crossbar, then from the crossbar the shells are manufactured, and shells hot pressing is performed with manufacturing of the pipe blanks. The pipe blanks are machined, chemically etched, vacuum heat treated, and then cold rolled by several runs with total deformation degree up to 60%, at that after each cold rolling operation with deformation degree up to 30% the intermediate vacuum heat treatment is performed. Then the final heat treatment of the produced pipes is performed at finish size.
EFFECT: high strength and corrosion resistance of pipe products out of hafnium.
