FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tool comprises cutting plate and body. Cutting plate has peripheral lateral surface including first wall, second wall, third wall and, at least, one working cutting part. Body comprises front clamping part and rear part. Front clamping part comprises base surface and clamping surface that comprises first support, second support and third support arranged across base surface. At least, a part of the first support stays in contact with a part of first wall along first support section; at least, a part of the second support stays in contact with a part of second wall, and, at least, a part of the third support stays in contact with the part of third wall along third support section. Note here that first and second support sections diverge downward. For better clamping of cutting plate in the body, second and third support sections diverge backward while third wall is directed mainly upward.
EFFECT: reliable clamping of cutting plate.
