SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to methods for examination and treatment of intestinal action and apparatuses for intestinal action examination. A method for intestinal action examination consists in the fact that three characteristics which enable measuring intestinal action are evaluated by a numerical analogue scale. For this purpose, an individual specifies a value and/or intensity of the evaluated characteristics by the numerical analogue scale. Then, the value and/or intensity of the evaluated characteristics are measured. An apparatus for intestinal action examination comprises a display presenting the numerical analogue scale, a receiving module and an interface transferring value and/or intensity data of said characteristics to an integrated control point. An automated data medium stores a computer program for intestinal action examination which is adapted for executing the stages of the method for intestinal action examination. In constipation treatment, according to one version, intestinal action is assessed by the method for intestinal action examination, and according to the second one - by the apparatus for intestinal action examination. Constipation treatment is conditioned by the examination results.
