FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of protective polymer coats, and may be used to produce antirust layers on metal surfaces of cylindrical containers intended for transportation and storage of aggressive media. In compliance with this invention, pulverised fluoroplastic-4 is placed in 2.0-8.0 mm-thick layer, inside chamber formed by inner surface of cylindrical container and metal rod. Then, said coat is compacted to initial porosity of 50-60%. Now, said coat is deposited on said inner surface on loading it by glancing impact wave with pressure of 0.6-0.8 GPa transmitted through cylindrical container wall, and thermally treated.
EFFECT: higher-density coat, simplified procedure.
