FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of protective coating from powdered fluoroplastic-4 on cylindrical steel item surface, includes said coating pressing in by loading from explosive charge sliding shock wave and subsequent heat treatment. Inside article symmetrical to its lengthwise axis metal rod is placed with gap of 1.0-2.0 mm between external surface of rod and inner surface of article. Said gap is filled with aqueous filler, produced assembly is sealed and placed coaxially inside steel tubular shell, which inner diameter exceeds external diameter of article by 2-8 mm. Cavity formed by article outer cylindrical surface and steel tubular shell inner surface is filled with powdered fluoroplastic-4. Pressing in of said coating is performed by loading with pressure of 0.9-1.0 GPa from sliding shock wave transmitted through wall of steel tubular shell, with removal of metal rod and aqueous filler from article and producing of coating on article outer cylindrical surface and deformed steel tubular shell. After heat treatment article with coating pressing out is performed from steel tubular shell.
EFFECT: obtained coating has stable adhesion strength.
