FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of metal-polymer coatings on cylindrical part surfaces by explosion power and may be used for making protective and wear proof coats for machinery. Article is arranged in tubular shell to fill polymer-metal powder in clearance between article and tubular shell. Cylindrical container is arranged around said shell to fit explosive charge in cavity formed by container and tubular shell outer surface. Powder is built on article surface by explosion. Produced blank is subjected to heat treatment to detach formed shell from coated article. Three-layer shell consists of inner copper-foil layer, outer steel layer and intermediate layer of ceramic powder at the ratio of 1:4 between outer steel layer and said intermediate layer. Article is arranged in tubular shell with cleaner not exceeding 6 mm. powder is filled in to ensure porosity of 40-50%. Explosive height and denotation rate are selected to ensure powder pressure of 1.6-2.9 GPa. Produced blank is treated at temperature making 1.1-1.2 of powder fusion point and cooled together with furnace.
EFFECT: higher density, strength and adhesion.
