FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing composite solid propellant (CSP) using a continuous mixer. Proposed method proportioning powder, liquid-viscous components by continuous-action proportioners, fed doses ratio being controlled, premixing of components, mixing them in top and bottom mixers of mixing machine, correcting propellant composition, if required, by metering out component dose shot, and mixing in top mixer and moulding mix from lower mixer by injection. To correct propellant composition, powder component short is metered out in portions not exceeding in weight 3 % of top mixer propellant mix load at the moment of composition correction beginning. After metering every portion of powder components, they are mixed in top mixer for 3-10 min.
EFFECT: uniform distribution of components in propellant composition correction, safe process of composition correction.
