FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to storage of heat energy when energy consumption is reduced and to the output of stored energy when energy consumption in power circuit is increased (peak hour), and can be used during storage of hot heat carrier heated at least with two power units with one common storage tank. Thermal power station, mainly nuclear power station, consists at least of two nuclear power units each of which has reactor circuit 3 and 65 and water-steam circuit 9 and 64. Besides, there is circuit 28 of high-temperature heat carrier, which includes tank 29 for heat storage with charging heat exchanger 30 and two discharging heat exchangers 31 and 75, which are connected to it. The above two discharging heat exchangers 31 and 75 in condensate supply line from turbines 13 and 69 are in their turn bypassed respectively around gate 27 of circuit 9 and gate 72 of circuit 64, which provides condensate return to deaerators 24 and 73 somewhat higher than steam saturation temperature by 1-2°C, and so regenerative steam extractions from turbines 13 and 69 to next low pressure heaters 22 and 71 will be automatically stopped, i.e. shutoff. As a result, the steam flow through the flow part of HP and LP cylinders increases and power of turbine generators also increases and exceeds nominal level of 100% power of power units. Exceedance value of nominal power is the additional peak power in discharging mode of tank 29 for heat storage.
EFFECT: improving use efficiency of system for heat energy storage when the thermal power station operates in manoeuvring modes.
