SUBSTANCE: invention refers to emergency evacuation units, mainly for people descend from the buildings, with a mechanical brake assembly. The individual emergency evacuation unit comprises a body with an in-built drum whereon a safety rod is wound around. A free end of the rod through the brake assembly and outlet rollers is brought out from the body and supplied with a latch hook. The brake assembly represents movable and fixed tooth gear and lever. The safety rod is thrown over the gears. A pivot shaft of the level is fixed in the body, while its end is protruded from the body. A fixed gear axis is attached in the body, while a movable gear axis is fixed on the lever so that the movable gear axis moves towards the fixed one by the lever, and force action on the safety rod is varied.

EFFECT: invention allows higher extreme evacuation safety and speed.
