SUBSTANCE: engine providing implementation of the above method includes secondary chambers built into the cover of cylinder housing and intended for development of ignition components with free radicals in one preliminary combustion cycle for their being used in the next cycle. Secondary chambers are interconnected with the main chamber through small connection channels. Also, new control devices are proposed, which are coordinated with the processes provided with available secondary chambers, which are intended to control the developed numbers of components of ignition with free radicals. Pre-set presence of components of ignition with free radicals, which are supplied so that it changes or adds controlled variety to the main chain reactions to ignition process in the next cycle. The said presence allows obtaining such result owing to decreasing the ratio of heat to fuel required for start-up and support of combustion. So, the above presence improves combustion process and reduces emissions in engines with ignition with radicals, spark ignition and with compression ignition.
EFFECT: enhancement of engine control efficiency.
