SUBSTANCE: optical device (200) for counting and differentiating leucocytes in an automatic device (200) for analysing blood has a light source (201), relating to the type of an electroluminescent diode which emits a light beam along an optical axis (X200) in order to illuminate a blood sample circulating in an optical vessel (300) along the injection axis (X300). Also, the optical device (200) for counting and differentiating leucocytes in an automatic device (20) for analysing blood has apparatus (222, 223) for measuring light of the resultant light beam (212) coming from the optical vessel (300) after crossing blood cells in the said blood sample. The apparatus (222, 223) has a device for detecting light diffracted by the said blood cell in accordance with the range of acute angles which are less than 10 degrees from the optical axis (X200).
EFFECT: high diffraction efficiency, high measurement accuracy.
