FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: blood sample assay is conducted at the following stages: in a single so-termed dilution and assay vessel, an analytic solution containing this blood sample, a diluent and at least one erythrocyte lysis compound; at least, one hemoglobin stabilisation chromogen complex compound is prepared. The erythrocyte lysis is followed by spectrophotometric analysis of the analytic solution for a hemoglobin level and selection of the related amount of the analytic solution in the vessel whereon leukocytes are differentiated by an optical means. The invention is characterised by the fact that the analytical solution contains in addition at least one leukocyte protection compound that enables recovering at least five general leukocyte subpopulations.
EFFECT: simplified blood sample assay procedure that involves counting hemoglobin in the form of an oxyhemoglobin and five leukocyte subpopulations, cutting assay time.
