FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: here is claimed copper-zinc alloy, its application for fabrication of baulk ring of synchroniser and baulk ring of synchroniser. Alloy contains from 55 to 75 wt % of copper, from 1.65 to 8 wt % of aluminium, from 0.3 to 3.5 wt % of iron, from 0.5 to 8 wt % of manganese, from 0 to less 5 wt % of nickel, from 0 to less 0.1 wt % of lead, from 0 to 3 wt % of tin, from 0.3 to 5 wt % of silicon, from 0 to less 0.1 wt % of cobalt, from 0 to less 0.05 wt % of titanium, from 0 to less 0.02 wt % of phosphorus, unavoidable impurities, and zinc - the rest.
EFFECT: raised wear resistance of alloy.
