ASH COLLECTOR WITH SWIRL NOZZLES Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC B01D47/06

Abstract RU 2416453 C2

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ash collectors and may be used at thermal electric power stations. Proposed ash collector consists of inlet branch pipe, casing, outlet branch pipe, bin, sprinkling and spraying nozzles made up of swirl nozzles. Each nozzle comprises casing with chamber wherein screw is press-fitted. Nozzle casing bottom has throttling hole, while casing top accommodates union with cylindrical hole, diffuser and gasket. Conical mixing chamber is arranged above throttling hole to produce total finely-dispersed swirling flow. There is hole with screw thread arranged inside said screw with direction aligned with that of the screw outer thread.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of flue gas cleaning due to increased spraying surface area.
