FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stator comprises outer layer wherein accommodated is fusible inner layer with helical teeth. Inner layer and its surface mechanical properties are formed in cooling and curing layer melt in annular gap between injection mould metal surfaces. In compliance with second version, stator metal tooth surface has elastomer layer secured thereto. Injection mould consists of stator outer layer inside which core with outer helical teeth is arranged. Injection mould incorporates filling orifice communicated with aforesaid annular gap. Injection mould is heated to pour inner layer melt into stator outer layer. Injection mould is cooled down to solidify inner layer. Core is withdrawn from the stator.
EFFECT: higher strength of stator teeth, simplified fabrication, longer life and higher efficiency.
