FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: resistance strain gauge is connected to cables of sensors by double-wire or four-wire circuit, while cables of sensors are coupled with switch-board connectors by four-wire circuit. The measuring system is calibrated in each cycle of inquiry of resistance strain gauges to increment of resistance of a strain calibrator relative to a value of nominal resistance of the resistant strain gauges. There is established dependence of strain gauges resistance on coefficient of conversion function of the measuring system and on a value of a measured signal in codes. At each stage of structure loading there is determined a value of resistance increment relative to a value of nominal resistance for each resistance strain gauge and there is calculated a value of relative deformation of the structure.

EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of measurement at various connection with utilisation of same measuring system; usage of one-type equipment for calibrating measuring system.
