FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to control operability of a multi-point measurement system with inlet switching of sensors, consisting in the fact that a shaper of steps of sensor signals imitator corresponding to type of connected sensors is connected to the inlet of the sensor switchboard, and signals of this shaper are measured, using measured signals of the shaper and their available physical values, they calculate the function of system conversion, then the second shaper of steps of sensor signal imitator is connected to the sensor switchboard corresponding to the type of connected sensors, physical values of signals of which are known in advance, signals of this shaper are measured, using results of these measurements and the calculated function of system conversion, they calculate values of signals of the second shaper of imitator steps and determine differences with their available values, by value of these differences they assess extent of system operability.
EFFECT: using the invention will make it possible to simplify method of control, to increase reliability of control of operability of a measurement device for provision of measurement of sensor signals with specified accuracy and to reduce time of preparation for performance of measurements of a multi-point measurement system with inlet switching of sensors.
