SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air cleaning. Proposed air cleaner comprises casing, detachable cover and filtration element wherein cover and filtration element interact in rotation so that cover inner surface comes in contact with radial periphery of filtration element. Filtration element comprises two face plugs, filtration medium and outer wall of plug. Note that said outer wall is other than round. Proposed method comprises orienting cover to casing outline and element in contact of inner surface with filtration element inner surface to allow relative rotation.

EFFECT: ruling out of filtration element displacements in casing, better seal.
