FIELD: wastewater treatment plants.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtration. Filter cartridge contains a packing medium, extending between first and second ends and surrounding and defining a central axis and an open central interior space, a plug, adjacent to the second end of the packing medium, and a shock absorber element extending through the opening in a central protrusion. Plug has an inner surface with a central recess. Central recess is defined by a protrusion extending from the first end of the packing medium and having a wall, surrounded by the packing medium and separated from it. Protrusion has an end with a through hole, separated from the first end of the packing medium. Gas filter comprises a housing, defining the interior space, inlet and outlet nozzles for gas flow, a control filter cartridge, operably and detachably mounted inside of the housing, and a main filter cartridge containing the packing medium, surrounding the open interior space of the filter. Housing includes a housing base section and a removable access cover.

EFFECT: technical result is ensuring safe and convenient assembly of the filter.
