FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: complete cutting of spinal marrow in rats at thoracicoinferior level Th9, implantation of electrodes are performed and chronic epidural stimulation is carried out. Electrodes are implanted into L2 and S1 segments of spinal marrow, stimulation being carried out two weeks after implantation and spinalisation. L2 and S1 segments are stimulated simultaneously with frequency 40 Hz with intensity 4-7 V on condition that hind limbs of rats rest on tread ban belt.

EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for modeling chronic affection of spinal marrow and methods of its treatment.
