COMPOSITION OF COMPLEMENTING FRAGMENTS OF MOLECULE OF PHOTOPROTEINS FROM HYDROZOA AND METHOD OF ITS APPLICATION FOR ANALYSIS OF INTERMOLECULAR INTERACTIONS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC C12Q1/25

Abstract RU 2418859 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: described is composition of complementing fragments of molecule of photoprotein from Hydrozoa for analysis of intermolecular interactions, obtained by division into two parts of photoprotein molecule in the region of external loop between the 4-th and the 5-th α-spirals of protein globule, whose complementing fragments in association are generated by detectable bioluminescent signal. Claimed is application of described composition for analysis of intermolecular interactions, including genetically-engineered connection of complementing fragments with analysed polypeptides, with formation of the first and the second hybrid protein of analysed pair, which ensures assembling of complementing fragments into functionally active photoprotein in case of interaction of analysed polypeptides, said interaction being registered by restoration of bioluminescent activity of photoprotein.

EFFECT: invention extends arsenal of means for analysis of protein-protein interactions.
