FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: on bottom of pelletiser there is formed scull. Moist charge is supplied into the pelletiser in two flows; the first flow is introduced into a flow of compressed gas forming at least two gas-moist-charge jets. On scull of the pelletiser there are formed a zone occupied with charge and a zone free of charge. Nuclei are formed by sputtering charge on scull with gas-moist-charge jets in the zone free of charge; there is produced a dense layer of moist charge with radius R from each gas-moist-charge jet. A common sputtered layer of moist charge is formed due to sputtering separate sputtered dense layers of charge with partial overlapping gas-moist-charge jets. Overlapping separate sputtered layers one on another comes to 5-50% R. The sputtered layer is divided to nuclei in form of moist charge briquettes by means of a lengthwise divider and crosswise divider made in form of a complex rotary drum with ribs; the drum is rigidly mounted above surface of scull. Scull is cleaned from nuclei with the drum and after-pelletised with charge of the second flow to pellets.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of pelletiser and durability of pellets.
