FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to clinical neurophysiology and neurosurgery. Somatosensoric and acoustic stem evoked potentials are registered. Registering electrode of differential amplifier of neuromyograph, connected with inlet "plus", is placed on mastoid on the side of median nerve stimulation. Registering electrode, connected with inlet "minus" is placed in zone of projection of sensitivity of stimulated upper extremity. Earthing electrode is placed on shoulder of stimulated extremity. Synchronous stimulation of distal part of median nerve with current pulses and auditory system with sound signals is carried out. Somatosensoric and acoustic stem evoked potentials are registered on one channel of neuromyograph, in one period of analysis.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to keep track of developing changes in different parts of brainstem in the course of operation.
