NETTING FOR HEMOSTASIS OF PARENCHYMAL ORGANS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B17/03

Abstract RU 2289330 C1

FIELD: medicine, surgery, urgent surgery.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with interrupting hemorrhages in case of a great number of entering patients with affected parenchymal organs: liver, spleen and kidney. The suggested netting for hemostasis of parenchymal organs is made of catgut ligature and contains the main part as cells and an additional part as ligatures. For right-hand hepatic lobe this netting is made of catgut №5 and has the length of the main part being 44.2 cm and 57.2 cm, its width being 13 cm, cell's size 1.3 cm x 1.3 cm and the length of ligatures of 10 cm. For left-hand hepatic lobe the netting is made of catgut №5 and has the length of the main part of 26 cm and 32.5 cm, the width being 9.1 cm, the cell's size of 1.3 cm x 1.3 cm and the length of the main part being 20 cm and 28 cm, the width, correspondingly, 10 cm and 12 cm, the cell's size being 1.0 cm x 1.0 cm, the length of ligatures 30 cm and the length of lateral ligature of 10 cm. For right- and/or left-hand kidney it is made of catgut №5 and has the length of the main part being 22.1 cm and 28.6 cm, the width, correspondingly, 14.3 cm and 16.9 cm, the cell's size being 1.3 cm x 1.3 cm, the length of ligatures of 15 cm and that of lateral ligatures - 10 cm. As a result, the innovation considerably decreases traumatic impact upon the tissues of parenchymal organs, moreover, the compression is provided while performing hemostasis along with shortened terms for netting' resolution.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
