FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: control system for internal combustion engines (ICE) is proposed, where ICE comprises the first fuel injector, injecting fuel directly into the ICE cylinder, and the second fuel injector, injecting fuel into the ICE intake channel, as well as a coolant flow control unit in ICE cooling system, designed to limit or prevent the coolant liquid circulation during ICE warm-up. The control system reduces the amount of fuel injected by the second fuel injector in a single cycle to an amount smaller than the second base injection amount according to ICE operating conditions, and increases the amount of fuel injected by the first fuel injector in a single cycle to an amount greater than the first base injection amount according to ICE operating conditions, for a given period after coolant flow restriction operation end.
EFFECT: reduced air-fuel ratio variation due to temperature variation of the intake channel border.
